New England Championship Wrestling returns to live action on Saturday night, July 14 with RED, WHITE & BRUISED at the Knights of Columbus, 582 Bedford St, Bridgewater, MA with a 7PM bell time.
This action-packed card is topped by an intriguing double main event and some exciting updates to the card have been made!
Chase Del Monte will face off against the undefeated Matt Taven to determine the number one contender to the NECW Heavyweight Championship. De Monte, a former NECW Tag Team Champion, has picked up some momentum of late and is looking to carry that wave to another shot at “The Infamous” Bobby Fish. Taven, who is about to sign a contract with WWE, brings his undefeated record to the table and he too, is looking for a shot at the champion and the chance to leave an indelible mark on NECW.
After events that took place at NECW’s STRONGER THAN HURT, a battle between former NECW Heavyweight Champions has been signed. “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke will go one on one with Brian Fury, after Fury’s shocking attacks on “The Real Deal” last month in Bridgewater.
The other matches previously announced are as follows:
In a World Women’s Wrestling feature match, Adrianna, who is now calling herself the uncrowned WWW Champion, will take on Mercedes.
Johnny Thunder, who has a couple of victories under his belt, is looking to continue his winning ways, but the obstacle in his path is Sean Burke, making his return to NECW action.
Julian Starr returns to Bridgewater to battle newcomer “The Shure Thing” Mark Surman.
Dalton Castle will make his NECW debut taking on “The Statement” Elia Markopoulos.
The Logan Brothers will be in action taking on the team of Nick Westgate and Nick Farenheight and more!
Some of the matches above may be shuffled around. Also appearing tomorrow night and debuting for NECW, Josh O’Brien, a protege of Yoshihiro Tajiri who wrestles with his SMASH/Wrestling New Classic promotion and Jeremy Prophet, a rising star from Canada.
