NECW drew another packed house to the Americal Civic Center in Wakefield, MA for DOUBLE INTENSITY. All recognized NECW titles were defended on this event.
The night began with “The Fittest Man” Dan Terry calling out his trainer, mentor and friend former NECW Television Champion, Beau Douglas. Terry told him how he started him out in professional wrestling and he trained hard with him, but he hadn’t won a single match in NECW and was going nowhere. Terry blamed Beau for his lack of wins. The conversation got heated and Beau slapped Terry. At that point, Mr. Tony Ulysses got involved and both men attacked Beau. After it was broken up, Beau told ring announcer Chris Norman to get a referee out so he could make Dan Terry lose another match. Terry got the best of the former TV Champion, thanks to the outside interference of Mr. Tony Ulysses, who is now the manager of Dan Terry.
Next up. Brad Hollister came out to the ring to explain why he failed to appear for his scheduled match with Slyck Wagner Brown last time. Hollister claimed he already beat Slyck Wagner Brown and he hadn’t received a one on one rematch for the NECW Heavyweight Championship and did not intend to wrestle in NECW until he did. This brought SWB out who reminded Hollister how at BASH 15, he tried to ruin his knee and the last time they faced each other he tried to take his eye out. Eventually, the two went at each other with everyone on the locker room coming out to keep them apart.
Then came the rematch for the World Women’s Wrestling Championship. Before the match began, James Maddox of WERCS came out with Nikki Valentine and announced that his corporation has purchased her contract and now he controls the Triple W Championship. The special guest referee assigned to this match was former champion Davienne. The match went back and forth until Miss Sammi Lane came out distracting Belmont, who accidentally elbowed Davienne in the face, in the confusion, Nikki Valentine went for the roll up and won the match.
The new NECW Tag Team Champions, The Regulators (Jack Maverick & Brute Van Slyke) with James Maddox squared off against “The Canadian Giant” Genesis and Alex North in a hard hitting, action packed battle. Genesis & North won the match via disqualification due to the interference of James Maddox.
“Sensational” Scott Levesque with Miss Sammi Lane in his corner, got the win over D.J. A.C., who gave the former television champion a run for his money.
NECW Television Champion, Todo Loco retained hsi title over former NECW Television & Tag Team Champion, Kris Pyro in a classic back and forth battle that had the fans on the edge of their seats. Both men got a standing ovation at the end of the match,
In the main event, NECW Heavyweight Champion, “The Masshole” Mike McCarthy battled “Pure Talent” Chris Escobar managed by James Maddox in another epic collision that wowed the fans in Wakefield. Once again, Maddox interference was a factor, but this time it backfired and McCarthy made Escobar tap to the CTFO.
